Follow this guide to determine the proper size for your bracelet when ordering. 

Step 1.  Determine where on your wrist you prefer your bracelet to sit.

Step 2.  Measure your wrist.  Measure your wrist by wrapping a tape measure around the point on your wrist where you would like your bracelet to sit. Make sure you have selected a comfortable position (snug but not too tight).

If you don't have a soft tape measure, you can measure your wrist with a simple string, pinching the ends together and marking where the ends meet. Remove the string and lay flat to measure the string with a regular ruler. 

Step 3.  Determine the length of your bracelet.

 

Step 4.  Based on how you like to wear your bracelet we recommend adding to your length as per the chart below:

Step 5.  With your final measure (your DIAMETER + FIT) select your bracelet size:

Our AA Designs bracelets are strung on durable stretch elastic cord to make putting them on and taking them off effortless.  To enhance the lifetime of your bracelet, roll your bracelet on and off your wrist.  Stretching and pulling your bracelet can cause the elastic to weaken and break over time.

 

Avoid directly exposing your bracelet to harsh chemicals including hairspray, perfume, cologne, and chlorine.  It is also recommended to keep AA Designs bracelets out of water and avoid wearing them while showering, swimming or exercising to prevent weakening of the elastic and damaging the natural qualities of the stones and beads.

 

The accent of lava rock in these bracelets allows for the added benefit of aromatherapy by allowing the use of essential oils on this porous stone. Lava rock has many small holes that allow a drop of essential oil to go a long way. Place a drop of your favorite essential oil on one of the lava beads on the bracelet. Wait a few minutes for the oil to absorb into the bead before putting it on, to avoid staining your clothes. Using the same oil on the same bracelet creates a more consistent scent over time.

We expect you’ll be wearing your sterling silver jewelry day and night, which is great because the oils in your skin actually prevent the jewelry from tarnishing! An easy way to refresh your silver is by using our jewelry polishing cloth. This will remove any tarnish and smudging that may occur.  For extra cleaning we recommend using silver polish.  When you are not wearing your silver jewelry (to shower or sleep), we suggest storing each piece individually in an airtight container.

 

You’ll probably be wearing these pieces a lot. An easy way to keep them shining is by taking a bowl with a mixture of warm water and mild dish detergent, and letting the jewelry soak for a few minutes. Once soaked, rinse with water and dry with polishing cloth.

For tarnish and smudges, just simply use a polishing cloth. If you need to buy one, polishing cloths are widely available at jewelers and pharmacies.
For the times you aren’t wearing the jewelry, we recommend keeping it individually in a soft pouch or bag.

 

We love the low maintenance, high shine of CZ! If you're already cleaning and polishing your pieces, that should keep the sparkle alive. For extra shine, dip a soft toothbrush in a mixture of warm water and mild soap. Then, gently scrub away any dirt that may have built up!

 

To have your jewelry ready to wear, it’s best to keep each piece separate to keep it from tangling and tarnishing.  For sterling silver, we recommend using an airtight plastic bag to keep moisture out.  For yellow and rose gold plated, you can just keep each piece in a soft pouch.

 

Avoid knocking or dropping your stone as it is fragile and can easily crack or break. To clean your natural gemstone, simply wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming or bathing in hot tubs. Avoid exposing jewelry to shampoo or other beauty care products like hair spray, hair dyes, spray tan, lotions or perfumes.
